So you had a girl and she went over the ocean
and you had a job but someone else took your place
and you had a dream but it’s gone with the summer
and it seems like you are losing everything

and you wake up in the morning with your eyes closed
and your heart is beating faster than a drum
and you feel like melting cheese on a piece of toast
and you afraid of all those things to come

of those victims and commitments
that surely must be done

but let me tell you...

So you stay in bed thinking bout the things to do
and your horizons fading behind your tv
and you quarrel with yourself and blaming God above
for he’s given you the life you never asked for

and your hope has been eaten up by your loneliness
and the monsters you created cry or more
and you sacrifice them the catalog of your believes
and you are afraid of those things including this

of those victims and commitments
growing out of this
