A. says I’d like to get away today
maybe I could make music in subways
I’ve got a million songs I wanna play
I’m sure I’m gonna make it to Broadway

So A. grabs his strings without delay
closes his door and than A. throws his keys away
I’m out A. wonders – what more can I say
I’m out I spread my wings and fly a—
way new horizons on my way
yeah

The day when everything is changing
you take a breath and feel the real thing
you take control over your own life
and you feel good because you come alive
the sleeper leaves the night
vanishes into a ray of light
alright

B. says I’m getting bored of being me
I’d like to be somebody else but me
there are so many things I’d like to see
I hide so many dreams inside of me

So B. grabs her coat and her car key
cut the lights and close the door silently
I’m out B. wonders – is this really me?
I’m out but most definitely I’m free
new horizons await me

Z. says I’m so afraid of getting mad
I’ve got plenty of pictures in my head
I need as many colours I could get

So Z. grabs his pencils and his pad
down the stairs doesn’t stop and don’t look back
I’m out Z. wonders – did I manage that?
I’m out today’s the day I won’t forget
new horizons lay ahead
